How to Wear Prints (From Subtle to Bold)
In this week's Style Edit, Kim and Sylvia are all about prints and patterns - an easy way to bring life to your wardrobe, especially if you tend to lean toward neutrals.
We like to say there’s a print for everyone!
If you're new to prints, start small:
- Try a tonal or low-contrast print for a softer, more subtle look
that still adds interest.
- A textured, tone-on-tone weave can bring in personality without feeling like a big commitment to print (we love the yellow Niche top for this).
- Wear a print on the bottom, away from your face and balance it
with a neutral on top.
- Soften a printed top by layering a jacket or blazer over it.
If you already love prints, go bold:
- Try head-to-toe print for a fun, standout look -
especially in dresses for Spring and Summer.
- Choose a high-contrast print, like black and white,
for a statement moment.
- We also love black and white prints as a perfect canvas for
adding a pop of color with accessories or shoes.
One thing to keep in mind: Because most designers' garments are cut from large rolls of continuous fabric, the exact print placement will vary from piece to piece. This means your item is truly one-of-a-kind! If you have a specific preference for where a pattern lands in your size, please email before purchasing and we’ll be happy to help you find your perfect match.
