Oh, this fabric is so soft! Smooth on top with a brushed fleece backing, it shows to excellent advantage in this trim sweatshirt. The top has a rounded neckline, with a slight drop-shoulder construction and long sleeves complete with thumbholes. The rounded shirttail hemline adds a further sporty vibe to the look. The fit is relaxed, but not oversized. For a slouchier look, we recommend sizing up.

Cut Loose is an extensive line of casual clothing that’s sewn and dyed to order in San Francisco. Their silhouettes are simple, flattering and easy-to-wear. Cut Loose started in the late ’70s, street-vending T-shirts and drawstring pants on Fisherman’s Wharf. The beginning designs were “cut loose,” one size fits all. Back then, you couldn’t find T-shirts in great colors, so they dyed their own in a Victorian claw-footed bathtub – and people loved them. And still do.
