This lightweight cropped cover-up is a customer favorite at Evie Lou. Done in a soft cotton mesh, it has simple lines, making it the very thing to layer over all your sleeveless summer dresses and tops. It features lettuce-edged trim and an open-front construction. Many of our in-store customers opt to size down in this style. Our photos make it look like there's a pink cast to the color, but there is not!

Size & Fit

Our model, Tondi, is 5'9"; she's wearing a size XSmall here. Her measurements: Bust, 32 inches; Waist, 28 inches; Hip, 35 inches.

Fit note: The measurements below were taken with the garment lying flat. Because this is an open cardie done in a stretchy knit, each size has 2-3 inches of wiggle room. Many of our in-store customers opt to size down from their typical Cut Loose size in this style for a more fitted look.

About the Designer

Cut Loose is an extensive line of casual clothing that’s sewn and dyed to order in San Francisco. Their silhouettes are simple, flattering and easy-to-wear. Cut Loose started in the late ’70s, street-vending T-shirts and drawstring pants on Fisherman’s Wharf. The beginning designs were “cut loose”, one size fits all. Back then, you couldn’t find T-shirts in great colors, so they dyed their own in a Victorian claw-footed bathtub – and people loved them. And still do.

Shipping & Returns

Orders received today should ship the following business day. Our full returns policy is outlined here, but, essentially, shoppers have 14 days to return for a merchandise refund to the original form of payment. Exchanges and store credit returns are accepted for up to 30 days. All clearance items are considered final sale, and as such, cannot be returned.
