Organic, sculptural, and beautifully imperfect, these earrings feature naturally shaped freshwater pearls suspended from hand-wrapped neutral cord. Each pearl is completely one-of-a-kind, giving every pair its own subtle variation in shape, size, and luster.

To preserve the beauty and intention of your piece, avoid exposure to water, perfumes, and harsh chemicals. Gently polish with a soft cloth as needed. When not in use, store your jewelry in a dry, safe place to protect its finish.

Mela Jewelry is the creation of Manuela Girone and Francesco Di Tommaso, a husband-and-wife team handcrafting each piece in their studio in Bari, Southern Italy. Using raw, organic materials like pearls, gemstones, silk, and rope, they design jewelry that reflects each woman’s individuality; no two pieces are ever the same.

Their process is a constant exploration of contrast and form, where every piece is a collaborative effort between four hands, rooted in artisanal tradition. Recently joined by their daughter Vittoria, who brings fresh color and nuance, the family’s work feels timeless and personal, like treasures discovered beneath the sea, delicate yet powerful.

Orders received today should ship the following business day. Our full returns policy is outlined here, but, essentially, shoppers have 14 days to return for a merchandise refund to the original form of payment. Exchanges and store credit returns are accepted for up to 30 days. All clearance items are considered final sale, and as such, cannot be returned.
