About the Designer

Mela Jewelry is the creation of Manuela Girone and Francesco Di Tommaso, a husband-and-wife team handcrafting each piece in their studio in Bari, Southern Italy. Using raw, organic materials like pearls, gemstones, silk, and rope, they design jewelry that reflects each woman’s individuality—no two pieces are ever the same.

Their process is a constant exploration of contrast and form, where every piece is a four-hand collaboration rooted in artisanal tradition. Recently joined by their daughter Vittoria, who brings fresh color and nuance, the family’s work feels timeless and personal—like treasures discovered beneath the sea, delicate yet powerful.

Shipping & Returns

Orders received today should ship the following business day. Our full returns policy is outlined here, but, essentially, shoppers have 14 days to return for a merchandise refund to the original form of payment. Exchanges and store credit returns are accepted for up to 30 days. All clearance items are considered final sale, and as such, cannot be returned.
