Maybe this isn't the most Rundholzian of Rundholz sweaters, but it certainly seems like one of the most wearable! It's knit in a soft cotton-wool blend, with a deliberately boxy silhouette, a drop-shoulder construction and extra-long dolman sleeves. There's a zip-front placket and a generously sized hood; we especially like the loosely ribbed hemline.

Our model, Tondi, is 5'9"; she's wearing a size Small. Her measurements: Bust, 32 inches; Waist, 28 inches; Hip, 35 inches.

  • Small: Bust, 50 inches; Waist, 52 inches; Hip, 52 inches; Length, 21 inches.
  • Medium: Bust, 54 inches; Waist, 56 inches; Hip, 56 inches; Length, 21 inches.
  • Large: Bust, 56 inches; Waist, 58 inches; Hip, 58 inches; Length, 22 inches.

This piece is available only in three sizes. A size Small should work best for US sizes 4-8; a size Medium, sizes 8-12; a Large, sizes 12-14.

About the Designer

Carsten and Lenka Rundholz founded the Rundholz brand in Germany in 1993. The couple carefully rebuilt an ancient, regional farm into a modern headquarters in the Lower Rhine area, only an hour away from major cities like Dusseldorf and Cologne. They find endless inspiration in this region, which is characterized by small rivers and old trees, tiny fortresses and huge old farms, in their creative oasis, hidden behind high hedges and old willows. They create three distinct labels: Rundholz, Rundholz DIP and Rundholz Black Label, more than  600 pieces each year. “Our pattern makers are often astonished by the result of Carsten's sewing experiments; they need to rip the seams on everything in order to understand his patterns,” says Lenka. But before conquering the runway, all outfits have to pass the most crucial test. “Nothing will be put into the collection before Lenka gives her approval,” Carsten says.

Orders received today should ship the following business day. Our full returns policy is outlined here, but, essentially, shoppers have 14 days to return for a merchandise refund to the original form of payment. Exchanges and store credit returns are accepted for up to 30 days. All clearance items are considered final sale, and as such, cannot be returned.
