We love the pairing of a what might usually be a special-event material -- velvet -- with an sweetly feminine blazer. The fabric here is rather luxurious, with an innate sheen and a substantial, soft hand. The shoulders are pleated and exaggerated, really quite fashion-forward; the jacket's long sleeves and rolled lapel bring the more traditional jacket elements.  The hip-skimming length is quite versatile. Running a bit on the small side.
